About Me
I have over thirteen years experience in counselling and have a post graduate diploma in humanistic counselling from Brighton University. I am BACP registered and work within their ethical guidelines. As part of my annual CPD (Continuing Professional Development) I have done a wide range of courses which will also influence how I work, including:

I have worked with the YMCA in secondary schools for over ten years and volunteered with Mediation Plus providing intergenerational mediation for struggling families in East Sussex. I worked with PATCHED providing one to one counselling and duo counselling for families and friends supporting someone with addiction.
I enjoy travelling, reading and walking with my dog.

Information & Fees
Sessions are 50 minutes and are charged at £60 with the introductory session at £30. I accept cash and bank transfer.
The amount of sessions you have will depend on you and what you feel you need. We can agree to a fixed amount say 6 or 12 but it could be more open ended. We will review every 6 sessions to check in with where you feel you are and how you feel it is progressing.
Some of the issues I work with include anxiety, transitions, loss/bereavement, relationships, anger, low self esteem, self harm, work related stress, low mood and body image.
I work online or at 198 New Church Road, Hove, BN3 2DJ – opposite Tescos and near Hove Library. Parking is easy, it is a 10 minute walk from Hove station and well connected for buses (1, 1a,6, 49, 5).
